Tanzania Safari COVID-19 updates.

In response to the emergence of novel variants of the COVID-19 virus, on 07 May, 2021 the healthcare authorities of the United Republic of Tanzania published a new Travel Advisory, which imposed several new requirements upon the travellers planning to visit the country.

In short, these requirements are not much different from the COVID-19 regulations adopted by most of the popular holiday destinations. They are not overly restrictive for travellers, and though they require some additional actions, they will not pose an obstacle on your way to the dream vacation!

We hope you and your families are staying safe and healthy during these uncertain times, and we welcome you back to Tanzania whenever you feel ready.

While we cannot control what people fear. our wilderness is safer than the US (and most western countries) and other countries of the world right now just in terms of the intensity of the pandemic. We have been working closely with the government of Tanzania to accommodate a safe safari for all guests who wish to travel and escape the craziness of COVID-19 from their home countries. The tourism sector in Tanzania has taken measures to ensure that travelers are infection-free both upon entering and exiting the country.

Travel to Tanzania and Africa is now possible following an update to the Foreign & Commonwealth Offices advice. Alongside that, a change to the countries you can now visit Tanzania without needing to quarantine for 14 days in Tanzania and when you arrive back home.

This advice is being closely monitored by our office. So wherever you live, we can advise you of your travel options.
