Each day promises a new chapter, blending thrilling game drives, cultural encounters, and exploration of iconic destinations.
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. After check-in, enjoy a briefing to review the itinerary and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its vast elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Explore the park, enjoy a picnic lunch, and spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and over 500 bird species.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park – Lake Manyara National Park
Today, head to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and alkaline lake that attracts thousands of flamingos. Enjoy a full day game drive through diverse ecosystems, including lush forests, savannas, and wetlands.
Day 4: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park (Central)
After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch along the way. Enter the central Serengeti, known as Seronera, and begin exploring the endless plains filled with abundant wildlife, including wildebeest, zebras, and predators like lions and cheetahs.
Day 5: Full Day Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day in Serengeti National Park, exploring the vast savanna. With morning and afternoon game drives, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the Serengeti’s famous predator-prey interactions and marvel at the stunning scenery.
Day 6: Serengeti National Park (North) – Migration Viewing (Seasonal)
Today, drive towards the northern Serengeti to track the Great Migration (seasonal, from July to October). Witness dramatic river crossings where wildebeest and zebras brave crocodile-infested waters, or explore the landscape where the herds graze.
Day 7: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before departing for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a stop at Olduvai Gorge Museum to learn about early human evolution. Arrive in Ngorongoro and settle into your lodge with scenic views of the crater.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater – Full-Day Safari
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a full day of wildlife viewing. The crater’s rich ecosystem hosts a wide array of animals, including elephants, hippos, lions, and the elusive black rhino.
Day 9: Ngorongoro – Lake Eyasi (Cultural Tour)
Travel to Lake Eyasi for a cultural experience with the Hadzabe bushmen, one of Tanzania’s last hunter-gatherer tribes. Join them in traditional hunting practices and learn about their way of life, language, and survival skills. Later, visit the Datoga people, known for their blacksmithing.
Day 10: Lake Eyasi – Arusha – Departure
After breakfast, journey back to Arusha, stopping for a leisurely lunch. Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure, marking the end of an unforgettable safari.
